'My First Time Story' by Mike
Let me give you a backgroud check on me. My name is Mike, Im 17, from Virginia, USA. I live with my parents and my older sister (who 35). Let me tell my story of how I became a nudist.
I guess Ive always wanted to be naked as much as possible as a kid. I used to take off my clothes as often as I could. My parents thought I was just being a kid, but there was something more to me being naked than just that. Often when I was home alone at age 12 and age 13, Id just strip down and walk around my house naked. But as soon as my parents came home, I ran to get dressed. As much as I loved to be nude, I never thought about there being an actually lifestyle being devoted to living naked. I did not know anything about nudists at all. I thought that was only for Adam and Eve and that was it. So, basically I stopped being naked a lot.
It wasn’t until 2 years later, when was 14, that I found out about the nudist lifestyle. I was doing a report on Alexander the Great. I used Yahoo to search for Alexander the Great, when one of the sites listed was a nudist site. Alex and Sam’s Nudist Pages, an Australian personal nudist site. My first reaction was that I was shocked at what I was seeing. I thought I went into a XXX site, but then I started realizing that these people weren’t doing anything nasty, there were just...nude. So I read up on the information they had abut nudism. Then, I curiously typed in “Nudism” as my next search topic in Yahoo!. I was blown away at how many sites I had gotten about naturism. So I read and soaked up all the information I could about nudism. It was great, because here’s something that I thought did not exist, but it did. There were actually people who live without clothes. Who live...naked and natural. I thought it was very cool.
So that’s where I stopped just reading, and started getting naked myself at home. One of the sites said “The best way to start being a nudist is to start doing normal things in the nude, like being on the computer, watching TV, eating, sleeping, etc.” So, I tried it. I took off all my clothes while on the computer, and felt very relaxed. I thought that this is what I wanted to be. I loved it. Whenever I had the chance I was naked.
But, there’s one problem, my family. You see, my family has a serious problem with nudity. I come from a very strict Christian house, so it’s difficult to be nude when they are. They see nudity as something...sexual or sick. We recently went to a clothed beach where this one lady was letting her son run on around completely naked. He was only about 4 or 5. My family was like “That lady is crazy” and “Put some clothes on that boy!”. I knew that I could never tell my family about me being a nudist. So unfortunately, for another year, I'm a closet nudist. But there is one person who does know I'm a nudist....my next door neighbor. She lives by herself and is about 30-something. Well here’s how I got caught. Often, I go outside in my backyard a lot (naked, of course). I only go when I know my neighbor and no one in my family is home. She's the only neighbor who has a clear view of our backyard. One day I was out there reading a magazine in the nude, when she came out there and said “Did you forget something?” I ran and got my clothes as fast as I could. She laughed and said “Don’t worry about it, I don’t care” Then, we actually had a conversation about nudism. She told me that when she was a teen, she used to skinny-dip and sunbathe nude a lot. She was never into nudism, but she’s heard about it a lot. She’s too conscious of her body because, well...she's a little chubby. I told her that nudists don’t care what you look like, everyone is equal. But she's just not into it, but the good thing is, she said she wont tell my family about me being naked and she doesn't care if she ever sees me naked. So it’s very good that I at least have one person who’s accepting of me being a nudist.
So that’s basically my story so far. I'm always meeting new nudist friends online, but eventually I hope to go to a resort within the next year. I can’t wait to really get into the nudist lifestyle. But as of right now, closet nudism is the way to go from here. It’s a great lifestyle and I hope to be into for the rest of my life. I’m glad that I’ve been accepted as a nudist by one person, but soon I hope to meet a lot of others who enjoy the same thing I do.
